The Normal Christian Life part 2

So when we invite Jesus to come and live in our hearts, that is exactly what he does.  Remember He said:

Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. John 14:23
Jesus’ Life is God’s substitution for the “SELF” life, and we must find our identification with Christ… He does not necessarily give New Life (like that could be separate from Himself), He Gives us Himself, and He is the Life (intrinsically He is the Way, the Truth and the Life)
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:11-13
Jesus also gives us Freedom from the Law of sin & death because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2
For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. Romans 6:14
Now in light of these truths in Jesus…

We must Believe (Reckon) despite our “feelings”

For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin-- because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. Romans 6:6-13
To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ--their Lord and ours: 1 Corinthians 1:2

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light Ephesians 5:8

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, Philippians 3:20
We must Believe and Realize that the basis of our Justification (salvation ) is also the basis of our Sanctification

I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? Galatians 3:2-3
But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope. Galatians 5:5

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Galatians 5:16-25
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, Colossians 2:6
And Realize the Brokenness of our own resources and efforts (We are UnWorthy but not Worthless)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Galatians 5:24
When we begin to understand what it means to live the Christian life, only Jesus can do this, it Humbles us without degrading us and Elevates us without inflating us.
